SIMPLE WAY OF COOKING SINIGANG NA BABOY (exact measurements below)
SINIGANG NA BABOY or PORK SINIGANG is a tamarind based soup and a very popular Filipino dish. Pork is usually stewed in tamarind, garlic, tomatoes, and vegetables were simultaneously placed into the pot. Serve it while steaming-hot.
Ingredients:
2 medium-sized onions
3 tomatoes
1kg Pork belly (seared)
3 tbsp fish sauce
4 pcs taro or gabi
1 & 1/2 liters rice water
1 bowl or 1/4kg fresh tamarind
2 pcs raddish
1 bundle of string beans
1 pc banana heart
2 bundles of kangkong or river spinach
2 pcs eggplants
3 pcs green chilis
