Situated high in the mountains of Kanagawa prefecture and just an hour and a half from Tokyo by train, Hakone is the perfect day trip away from the hustle and bustle of the big city.

Ranked among the top Onsen areas in Japan, this scenic town is actually pretty tiny with a population of less than 15,000 people.

Though tourism is a big part of the local economy, in my heart, I hope the small town vibe I experienced while there, never completely disappears.

So, what do I have in store for you? In this travel vlog, I share 4 gems: The Hakone Open Air Museum, The Hakone Jinja Shrine, Lake Ashi and Gora Hanaougi Ryokan—my very first Hot Spring experience in Japan!

Each of these places offer a unique look at Hakone, but, enough with words, watch the video to see what I mean! And, don’t forget to Comment, Like and Subscribe to my channel if you enjoyed this video! Talk Soon :)
